Kenneth Vander Stricht, the current executive of Artisan Painters did not build his expertise as a master painter overnight. For fifteen years, he worked with Eddy Dankers, one of the most acclaimed painters and decorators at home and abroad. This collaboration landed him on prestigious projects for names such as Axel Vervoordt, Bernard De Clerck and Stephane Boens, as well as international residences of celebrities such as Sting, Kim Kardashian and even the iconic penthouse of Robert De Niro’s hotel in New York. They all found their ways toward him because of his expertise, nuance and materials that speak.
The choice of natural techniques and materials plays a major role in this. Paint and plasters are still prepared by hand in our own workshop, often based on natural pigments, lime and minerals. This ensures not only subtle colour differences and depth, but also long-lasting and timeless results. Techniques such as lime paint, tadelakt, mortex, patinas and stucco get a new lease of life here, fully adapted to the interior and the customer’s wishes. Each brushstroke contributes a unique character, each surface testifies to care and craftsmanship.
